DS1 says that everyone at nursery hates him

...and I am sure it is totally rubbish.

He is such a sociable boy and has 3 main friends. He loves going and is full of enthusiasm. He never shuts up and is a bit of a whirlwind.

But he has said this on and off for several weeks and DH wants to look into it more

My gut feeling is that ds1 is just saying it (he is in a 'fibbing' stage about most things right now). Am I being a cow?

I agree with you, but is it not worth checking just in case?

At 3, DS1 was telling me he had no friends at school, and nobody would play with him. I checked with his teacher, who laughed rather loudly at the idea.

Do check, it will set your mind at ease.

yes I would check. Dd used to say this and we asked the teacher who thought it was hysterical! Either he's getting to grips with fibbing or he wants an extra special mummy cuddle (or a bit of both!) Grin

His teacher WILL think it is hysterical. When I asked whether he was too loud at nursery at the recent parents' evening, she said 'I prefer to call it exuberant' and I guffawed at her teacher speak!!

He is also going through a phase of 'I not your friend' and 'You've ruined my day'.

He is the youngest in the class and his best friend is the oldest...

BTW he has certainly got to grips with fibbing recently about anything and everything. Even about whether he has wiped his bottom or not grrr
