teething

when do they get their molars?

is it around 2 years of age, and are they significantly more of a problem than the other teeth?

my 2 year old DS is miserable, and only wants to chew on my toothbrush, and has very bad nappy rash - molars is the only thing I can think of

any ideas?

I think it is around 2 - the chewing and nappy rash sound right too.
Have you tried teething granules? We had the Nelson's ones and Boots' own (cheaper), and both were great. And toast. Lots of it.

Hiya

There is a fab teething chart \link{http://www.teething-babies.co.uk/teething-process/teething-chart.html\here} Scroll over the age to see teething order
It looks like it is around 2 years. DS is breaking his first lot now and is totally miserable. HTH

Good chart - thanks DreamTeamGirl.

My dd started teething early - 4.5 months for her first 2 teeth. She's now 16 months, but I think she might be getting those last back molars now as she has had all 16 other teeth since she was 13 months. She's doing all the things Koalabear has described, plus she's waking up screaming at night, which she really only does when she's teething. I hope they come quickly - I need my sleep again Wink
