I love 'Bay'. The colour of a shiney horse and a costal scene, in my head anyway. With normal middle name, wdyt?

I quite like it, actually. In fact, if I have a boy next time round, I might pinch it as a middle name!

Not sure I'd be brave enough to use it as a fist name, but if you like it, go ahead!

Which celebrity has a child called Bay?

Personally I'm not a fan.

Also it rhymes with GAY. That's something you might want to avoid in a name.

Thanks! I have a Caspar, so may be braver than your average bear, yes?

I have a Bay on my family tree. Old bird from the 1890s or thereabouts, some sister of great grandad. Went to America IIRC.

Don't like it though, too abrupt.

Casper is a fantastic name.

I think you need an equally great name, and Bay just isn't up to it.

debaronz · 21/04/2010 15:42

I quite like it.

Casper is a grand name, not so keen on Bay at all. I've always thought Felix went well with Casper.

I agree with Bucharest, it is too abrupt.

Caspar is great. I would go for something like

Leon
Alexander
Tim

Felix goes well.

DrivenToDistraction · 21/04/2010 16:45

Well then, you have to make him let you call him Felix

You're the one who has to give birth, after all!

We had Bay before, it was a no no then as it is now.

I actually quite like it - for a girl. Puts me in mind of a tall, willowy, erudite brunette.

I think you would need a surname of at least 3 syllables to carry it off, though.
