Finn Frost - too many 'F's'

I really like the name Finn, but with our surname Frost - do you think it sounds weird? As in too alliterative?

I have an alliterative name and always really hated it - although people have told me it is cool I don't agree! I like the name Finn but think Finn Frost is a bit too sing-songy and agree with the thin frost comment. Finley is a bit better but there are loads of nice boys' names that don't begin with F - why not choose one of them?

I think the alliteration would be OK if the first name had more syllables, which is why Finlay works better than Finn.

I know a few people with alliterative names (although TBH most married into them) and they usually sound fine.

Soften it up by lengthening Finn. Make it Finbar Frost?

I like alliteration and one of my children's names is alliterative. But there are more syllables, imo it works better than Finn Frost, which sounds a bit chop chop.

Hmm I'm not sure about Finn Frost. I think for one you need a longer name. Finley Frost sounds better.

I think you need to be careful with alliteration. Ben Bond is not great IMO; It sometimes works tho; I know a Maisie Morgan and I think that's OK.

Frost is a great surname actually. I think you need an open sound at the end of the first name so it doesn't sound too harsh - Harvey, Jamie, Stanley, Billy etc.

Nothing wrong with alliteration! My DH is an MM and I would have been had my parents not chickened out (due to it being an MM!)I wish they hadn't though.

I think it can be catchy and rememberable, though in the case of Finn Frost, it does sound like Thin Frost. Can he not be Finlay?

FinbAr is lovely but it could be shortened to Finn, so I'd avoid any name with Finn with the lSt nsme Frost.
