Am I justified in thinking that DH has somewhere lost sight of reality? I thought he was joking, but apparently not.

A friends of friends called their DD this, sent out Egyptian themed birth cards too. Seriously.

Their poor DD.

I like it, unless DD is likely to be a wispy-looking girl. I think Cleopatra calls for looks that stand out for some reason.

I quite like it!

It is strong, unusual and Shakespearean. What's not to like?

This name has now ignited a barney between me and DH!! I'm just imagining teachers reading down the register and stopping in their tracks for a quick guffaw. Poor girl. Honestly! - And if she turns out to be a quiet, mousy little thing then even worse! He has NO comprehension of where my doubts are coming from. I'm questionning his sanity.

Cleo isn't bad, I'll admit...even quite sweet. We could always call her 'Clatty Pats' as a nickname!
