Some words are pretty yes, but they aren't names. At least not of human children.

To add to SOHs list - Chlamydia was a name actually used in my local hospital according to the midwives. Mother was warned about the meaning but liked the sound of it so went with it anyway!

I like it! Why not? It has nice associations, a nice sound and is a pretty, feminine colour.

The French spelling and pronunciation is lovely.
