Which of the above do you prefer? Our surname rhymes with "Day". DD due in about 2 weeks and still undecided!

Out of the three you've chosen I think Grace Elizabeth or Ava Grace sound better. Would you consider Elizabeth as a first name?

Elizabeth Grace maybe? Tons of potential for nn's from Elizabeth and your short surname could handle a longer first name. Just a thought!

Out of those, Grace Elizabeth, but I think Elizabeth Grace sounds better.

Grace Elizabeth. The others have too many "ay" sounds.

you could always go for Elizabethgrace - yes with no hyphen (there is one in my daughters class) !!

Agree with MrsWoolf - also, I know THREE Grace Elizabeths, all under 7.

I think with a one syllable surname I would choose either Ava or Elizabeth rather than Grace.

not Ava, go for Elizabeth Grace that's pretty and classic sounding.

Like them all but prefer Ava Grace

I LOVE Ava Grace. I, too, know a Grace Elizabeth, and Ava is fairly uncommon.

I don't know why people think Ava is common....i have never met one!

I am sold on Ava as a name but don't think either of your middle names sound right. I think it needs something with out an Ay sound in it like....Ava Ruby, Ava Eloise or Ava Charlotte....

{i have Ava Eloise on my ridiculously long shortlist}

Ava Elizabeth would go best with your surname I think...

i'd go for Elizabeth Grace too, especially with the "Ay" surname.

Ava Grace ...ay sounds too ayayayayayayay

and if you have Grace as the frst name, you again have the ayayayayayay problem.

Thanks for all your advice - we went with Ava Elizabeth in the end, and it fits her perfectly!
