baby will be growing up in scotland so names like sebastian/gabriel are no good or else all the all the lewis's, kyles, reeces and brandons will be flushing his head down the toilet in school everyday.

we dont actually know if its a boy or girl though so need girls names as well.

i dont like "trendy" names (dylan, jordan, connor, devon) etc.

think for a boy i want something a bit more normal but not old fashioned but like things slightly more unusal for girls (cant think of any examples)

i quite like jude for a girl but it sounds really rough with my accent.

i really dont like jude for a boy, my fave boys name is oliver but dh wont hear of it

help!!

Why don't you wait until he or she pops out - yeah, cos that's how it happens - and choose a name then because he/she looks like a Spudulike (it's exotic) or a George?
