Ach- I thought Lola was back for a minute there.

Who's he had a new son with? Is it a proper one or a broom cupboard one?

Yes, this is a proper son with his new wife.

I really like Amadeus .

Maybe Amadeus is a bit like Jack in Germany?
I like it

I quite like Amadeus. Maybe they are fans of Mozart (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart)...?

I love it!

I don´t think it´s that popular here!

I think Amadeus is very cool, actually. Would never have the courage myself, but it is rather fab. Don't like Benedict or Edley. I would call my son Eggs as a nn if he was callled Benedict.

I'm German and have never heard of Amadeus before (apart from Mozart, that is , so it is very unusual... but I really like it!

Has a nice meaning too "amare" = to love, "deus" = god (latin).

I like Amadeus. Not that keen on Benedict - lots of scope for teasing with that one.

Amadeus is the Latin form of the Greek name Theophilus/Theodore - both meaning 'blessed (or loved) by God'.

Nothing wrong with that imo.

I know an amadeus

His surname's mozart too would you believe !

Amadeus is the Latin form of the Greek name Theophilus (not Theodore, which means gift of God) and of the German name Gottlieb. Moart was actually called Gottlieb iirc but preferred the Latin form.

Love Benedict (we'd like to call a future son Arthur Benedict). Not so keen on the others but then, I'm one of those weird people who doesn't like Mozart very much.
