Have you got a boy's name in mind? Or do you know for definite that you are having a girl?
The only reason I ask is because when I was pregnant with DD I could not think of a single suitable boy's name, but chose a girl's name right at the beginning, with DS exact opposite. Neither pregnancy did I know what I was having.
Make alexa her first name?

What sort of names have you considered & rejected so get a sense of your naming preferences?

Why does Alexa have to be her middle name? Personally, I think it's by far the nicest of your list of names...they all sound like you've tried too hard to come up with something unusual for the sake of it. Sorry - just my opinion.

hmm not sure about any of your previous considerations. I agree with detoxdiva that Alexa is the nicest of all those names.

I find it hard with girls' names, because I automatically have name association from girls at school or through life. Is this a common problem or am I just unique
i.e. such a such name was class swot, such a such name is the beautiful one, such a such name is the bossy one etc

Arianna is lovely and not at all common.
How about Allegra,Antonia or Anastasia. Love Alexa too.

None could,in any way or shape be considered popular, made up, poncy or otherwise, yet all beautiful, historical, normal, easy to spell names.

Best of all they all have a beautiful sound and travel well. As a bonus they will probably be the only ones in their class.

Charzie - why Alexa as the middle name?
My DD is Alexa and thats all she is we love the name it is beautiful and does not need another name to go with it everyone remarks how pretty her name is and how it suits her so I know I chose well! (she was going to be Zoe )changed my mind at last minute when got one of those Baby name books and the name just stood out. Nothing wrong with Zoe either ! think its lovely too just liked the name Alexa better. Also it willstand out my DD was only one in primary amongst all the Laurens Lucys Katies and Kaitlins
