Baby names

Hope me choose a boys name!

DS2 is due in June, just found out we're having a boy today. DS1 is Henry (which I LOVE).

So far I can't think of a single name I like and DH is no help! I like quite traditional, but not too posh sounding names. I don't really like abbreviated names (archie etc). Surname begins with R and is quite long - ends in man. A welsh name could be a posibility but I can't think of any or find any I like either

I quite like (but not sure I like enough!):
Louis
Edward (DH hates!)

Congratulations to you!

We were also looking for Welsh names, on our list were:

Evan
Dylan
Rhys
Owen
Nye
Taren/ Ren
Cadel
Drew
Ioan or Iago - but we thought non welsh speakers would struggle with those!!

We have a few friends with little "Henry"s and their brother siblings are Hugo, Max, George, Louis and Charlie.

Thanks for the list WG - I had found that page ut the page wasn't loading, your link works though.

I like Huw but DH doesn't like it. I have a nephew and a cousin Lewis so that's out really. There are some names I but nothing that really stands out as something I'd want to choose. I like Isaac but I can't imagine an Isaac if that makes any sense.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Henry was our second choice for DS.

We called him Johnny which I love as its traditional, but not that popular at the moment.

(Though I guess its a nn really as he is John on his birth certificate..)

Love Evan - would have gone for this for DS if it had gone with our surname.
Rhys is also nice.
Charlie, Joseph, Jacob, James or Matthew are lovely too.
