I really don't like it at all (sorry)! I look to be the only one though so feel free to ignore me! Grin

I don't like it all. The kind of name a Z list American soap star would give their child.

Skye is nice though.

The serial killer in heroes is called skylar, the with in breaking bad is skyler.

Wasn't it also the name of the child in The Wolf of Wall Street?

The serial killer in 'Heroes' is 'Sylar', not 'Skylar'.

I don't like it (it sounds too American), but it's not my baby.

I know I couple of girls called 'Skyla', spelled this way, which I prefer.

It's one of those names I'd never use but which I think is pretty.

I love Skye, not so keen on Skylar

I've heard it before bu it seems a bit odd to me. It's like Skylon or Skylab so kind of sci fi, but also like Skylark without the final 'k'. Is it an Anglicized spelling of Schuyler (which is a surname but looks like a real word)?

I assume it is, singersgirl. I must say I don't like it at all - it has a kind of phoney sci-fi air about it, especially if your surname also starts with an 's'. Skye is much nicer.

I don't like it at all...sorry! I think spelling it without the "r" would make it sound more feminine, Skyla...
