Can't find a boys name I love - brother to Ella

I am imminently expecting a boy to be a little brother to my daughter Ella. I can't think of a name that I really love. We would like something relatively traditional, and perhaps (though not necessarily) Scottish as we have some Scottish ancestry. We are really struggling. There are loads of girls names I love but really struggling for boys' names. We both like names like Thomas, Alexander, Alastair etc but none of them are really jumping out at me. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

My fave boys name is Gregory, how about Gregor?

Alastair is lovely or how about Quentin, Hamish or Dominic?

Thanks so much ladies - keep them coming. I do like Alastair but DH less keen. I like Hamish too. Still nothing grabbing me though. Maybe nothing will and I have unrealistic expectations of suddenly hearing a name and thinking "that's the one!"

What about Brody? It's a Scottish surname originally (I think).

Ella and Brody sounds sweet.

Lots of good suggestions here.

Just don't name him Sam.

Sam n Ella, not good

Just to go off on a tangent......I really like Elliot actually but had ruled that out because I think we can't have an Ella and and Elliot - do others agree?
