Very stuck on first name ideas! Any help greatly appreciated…

Hello!
I'm looking for some ideas of first names that will go with a pretty long surname (3 syllables and begins with F) if he's a boy then his middle name will be David and if she's a girl then her middle name will be Victoria (after grandparents not the Beckhams!)
Chances are s/he'll have brown hair as everyone in both of our families does, I figure that's worth mentioning as some names I think go much better with darker or lighter colouring and s/he will be the first so no siblings to match.
In terms of taste - we're both slightly artsy, nerdy types! I love names that have something to do with books/plays/space/anything like that Smile his family are fairly posh southerners whereas I'm from more working class northern stock lol not that it's up to them but in an ideal world I'd like to name their grandchild something none of them would feel embarrassed calling out in the park…not necessarily easy when I tend to lean towards the slightly more unusual so yes any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
PS I don't know about you guys but I'm thinking a 2 syllable name seems to work best?

First person: Thank you, I do like a few of those but unfortunately the ones I like I already know people called it/similar :-(

Second person: Thank you too! The girls ones - I know an Esme and a Willow already and I think Orla sounds a bit too similar to her middle name…I love all of the boys ones though! Unfortunately we've already discussed Casper and Atticus and I've been veto'd on both :-( Milo hasn't been mentioned yet though so I shall, thank you! :-)

Out of interest, what do you think of Hugo?

Also possible contenders - Isaac (probably shortened to Zac) Reuben (probably Roo to us, perhaps Ben to family members that want something a bit more "normal") and I also like Ezra but I think I'd be fighting a losing battle on that one! I do like Max too but I think there'd probably be quite a few others in his class when he got to school wouldn't there?

As for girls I really like Lyra and so does he but I'm not sure what I'd shorten it to? Any ideas?

I like Indy for a boy too…is there any longer version other than Indiana? (I do love that but it just sounds too much with the surname)

Thank you :-) yes I like Samuel, he'd be "Sammy" mostly I think, I love Sammy…his nibs thinks it might be a bit too "normal" but I'm not sure…it'll certainly stay on the list as a maybe!

I like Archie but my best friend had a baby recently, I suggested it to her and she said she hated it so I'd feel a bit awkward about it I think! Joshua's also nice but there's one in the extended family already.

Thanks for your help :-)

Maya, Nyla, Alice
Henry, William, Raphael

If you love Archie then go for it - I doubt me and my best friend would like the same names! I think Alfie's nice too.
