Well, they are not neccessarily very fashionable, but I like Jonathan (ds's name) and Peter. I know everyone will now say "Oh, No! They are awful!" but I don't care.

I love Jonathan but then I do have one so a bit biased! We shorten it to Jonny

at the time DH liked Ethan and I wanted Sidney. Jonathan was the compromise but love it now.

My top boys name of the moment is Leo. I quite like Joe and Charlie but Leo is the only name dh and I agree on so far.

We,ve got 5 sons & DH insisted they all had 'proper names' ie. saint's names or royal names! Any girl could have a more unusual name if I wanted but not a boy.

Do you have any male relatives with good old-fashioned names. My two ds's are named after their grandfathers and they have four christian names (dutch tradition).

Rhys James Oliver
Peter James Oliver
Matthew James Oliver

BTW Where I live Jonathan James is a cheapo shoe shop, so I'd be too much of a snob to choose that option!

Let us know what you choose!
