As in no - don't call your child Sandy Castle.
Unless you live in Balamory.

......the yes from me is that "yes it would be weird to call your child Sandy Castle"...

So, no, don't do it!

You can't tell people what they can and can't reply to your question!

The child will have the piss taken out of them all through their school years

It would be unique but not in a good way, I'm sorry.

Is it bad that this thread is cracking me up? Grin

This is a joke yes?

Lots of regular names are fine with the surname Castle OP. I teach a James Castle. Fine and dandy.

Can't believe you are getting huffy about people sniggering already. Please don't set yourself (and the new baby) up for a whole lifetime of this sort of thing.

Ha ha! No.

OP don't take it personally.
I came up with some fairly barmy name ideas when I was pg. I swear that one day you will remember Sandy Castle and laugh at your temporary madness. Grin

And Op, I don't appreciate the abusive private messages you've just sent me. It's not your post it's the post you started. My opinion is as valid as anyone else's. If you've got something to say, say it publicly, I can take it. unlike some, obviously. Happy Easter Easter Smile

Can't believe you'd post this bizarre question (of course naming a child Sandy Castle is weird, in fact it is cruel) and then have no sense of humour about the 'Windsor' suggestion.
