Its a pretty non-descript name so the fields wide open for her to make her own way.

Regal and serene.

Ha ha, never met a serene Alexandra!

Intelligent and energetic.

I know two Alexandras (Alexs) both a confident & clever. One is my age & a successful engineer. One is 17 and applying to do Law at university.
Both are coincidentally tall. So on that unscientific basis it's a pretty good name & makes you taller than average. Grin

Confident and attractive.

My nearly Alexandra is so not serene... She's definitely more of an Alex than an Alexandr(i)a Grin

It's a good name though (obviously, as we chose it). Classic, everyone knows it, loads of flexibility on shortenings and nicknames but always with the option for a more 'formal' name when they grow up.

A bit posh.

JacqueslePeacock · 26/03/2014 13:01

Rather haughty, I think. Regal.

The only adult Alexandra I know is a vicar.

Feisty!

Love this name, can be regal and formal or when shortened tomboyish, girl-next-door, fun. Perfect for career choices.

Would be on my list except I had an ex called Alex so DH has vetoed it.

A pain the bum who is currently chasing a balloon around the living room.

I have one.

It's a lovely name.

Mine is tall too. Definitely not serene and most certainly knows her own mind!

I'm alex(andra) and I'm certainly not regal... or tall I'm very short actually. Unfortunately DP is refusing to pick 5 words to describe me with. ..

Beautiful name. I don't know what kind of girl she would be though! The only one I know, however, is lovely, caring and loyal if that helps?!

I think it's a fantastic name.

I think it's probably best not to describe the only one I know in RL though.
