oooohhhh.... we may have agreement on a new girls name. I love Ari (as in Harry without the H!) as a nn...

a. how would you spell it?
b. middle name???

I had a beautiful friend called Ariane. She was half French and spelt it with one n.

Prefer Arianne.
People might prononcw ariane arry-ane.
Marianne is nicer still

I like Arianna. It's becoming more mainstream - I've heard of a couple of children called Arianna in the last few years.

I don't think the spelling matters too
much but I prefer Ariana to Ariane simply because I generally prefer names ending in an 'a' sound as they're softer in my view. Likewise while I like Sophie I prefer Sophia.

yes Tea... at last! I really really love it the more I think about it. Hubs said he liked it lastnight so I'm hoping to persuade him it's the one.

I like it! I have only ever known one Ariane, I really didn't like her, but weirdly it hasn't put me off the name, so it must be a good one :-)
Personally prefer it with one N.
