Got no boys names at all. Help!

Got no boys names at all.
None.
DH is annoying & useless and just suggests outrageous and ridiculous names (Greek gods, Roman emperors, culturally inappropriate etc), that he doesn't for a moment think we will ever use. He's just being an arse.
We like traditional but uncommon names and all the names I like are in the top 10 or 20 which I'd ideally want to avoid.
We have a one syllable last name and dd is called Alex.
Any suggestions gratefully received, otherwise Agamemnon it is. Grin

I love Kit too but sadly it doesn't go with our last name.
Peter is a great name but we have a couple in the family already.
I like Evan (and Ivan too).
Rex makes me think of the dinosaur in Toy Story!
Names I like are:
Jack
Tom
Elliott
Fred
Isaac
But none of then feel right or they're too popular or they don't go with our last name.

Funny you mention Roman emperor names as the boys name my DH likes is Gaius as in Gaius Julius Caesar. I just haven't been able to bring myself to use it as its quite unusual and I think with really unusual names you have to have to be 100% sure you love the name to use it.

Boys names I like -

Tobias
Morgan (unisex)
Marcus
Spencer
Edwin (Family name)
Gideon (DH suggested this so not sure if I actually like this or not)
Dexter (DS2's name)

Would tell you ds1's name but its more unusual and it would totally out me :)

We like names that aren't really unusual but aren't in the top 100 names either. I find boys name really hard I don't know if it's just because we've had 2 boys already but I have a huge list of girls names and a handful of boys names!

Thanks everyone.
I like Nathaniel and Nate but really dislike Nathan due to it being the name of an awful man I used to know.
My problem is I associate lots of names with people and/or things then there's no way I can use it. For example Felix = cat food to me.
Also our last name is short and is also a noun so lots of names sound weird with it.
I like Ellis and Aidan.
I also have an irrational dislike of last names as first names like Harrison, Fletcher etc.
God, I'm a fussy old bag.

I've got a Samuel and a Leo. Not wildly exciting names, I'll grant you, but they seem to have done the job for us Smile

I would be going for Arthur (if DH would give in!) its traditional but not too high up in the ONS baby names list.

Ooh, I like Lucas.
Love Samuel and Leo but close friends have used these names.
Most of our friends have boys and they've used all the good names. That's what you get for having kids after everyone else!

I love Arthur but it doesn't go with out last name (sounds like a famous persons name).
I like Wilf but DH hates it. And he suggested Ragnor. Seriously.
