Help me come up with boy's names!

We have plenty of girl's names we like, but no boy's names at all! Got any suggestions?

Our personal name rules are:

  1. should be an actual name, so Avacado and Twelve are way out. Unusual names are fine though.

  2. Ideally uncommon, so they would hopefully be the only one in their class at school. I understand there is actually little I can do about naming trends, but there were six Sarahs in my year and I would like to avoid them being known as "Name + initial" if possible.

    Fire away, please!

A friend has just named her new baby boy "Warwick" asboth she and her DH admire the actor Warwick Davis. Thwy have met him a few times and say he is lovely do they had no hesitation in using the name for their baby.

Suspect he will be the only one in the class with thar name.

Oooh, loads of great names, thank you!

Three weeks til section date so loads of time, hopefully :)

The story about Warwick Davies is just lovely. I have always admired him, and he always comes across as such a nice person in interviews and stuff.

Some lovely name suggestions on here. Is Twelve actually used as a name? My husband has mentioned liking it as a name (it's his favourite word and he has always liked the sound of it as a name) - I do think its quite nice for a non-name but was quite shocked to see it mentioned here as I've never heard of it used as a name before. Also reluctant to use it as I'm sure people would just think we were barmy!

We read both Avacado and Twelve in an "unusual baby names" book we got from the library. I actually think it would be a perfectly nice name for a baby! I would love to meet a child or adult named Twelve, it would just not be our personal choice. You should name your children anything you like :)

Noel Gallagher and Pasty Kensit have a Lennon. I know of one who is about 2 or 3 months old, I really like it.
