Baby names

Feel I'm not brave enough to use this name!

Clearly I'm being very hormonal, but I'm just not sure if I'm brave enough to call DC2.....

Juno

When we already have an Honor.

Thought maybe Juno would be a great middle name but can't find a first name that really suits. Any suggestions? Names I like are Matilda (but not keen on its popularity) Claudia or India (which DH thinks is kicking the ass out of being middle class) Grin

Or should I just stick with Juno?

Not sure about Juno, but June would be lovely.

I hate Juno. The other three names are all much nicer first names IMHO.

Juno goes very well with Honor - they both have a bit of an alternative American modern feel. Matilda and Claudia do not go as well, being more classic names. India is alternative but it doesn't contrast with Honor as well as Juno.

You were brave enough to use Honor (which, after all, is nice but not common), you're brave enough to use Juno!

It is a marmite name....but I like it.

What about
Cora
Magda (nn maggie)

Not keen on India, never really liked it.
Iona?

Juno makes me think of the film of the same name where the teenager is pregnant & gives baby up for adoption after lots of abortion mentions.

Other than that, the only other time I've heard it is in Beetlejuice where Juno is the afterlife caseworker.

I'm not keen.

I think Juno is really lovely, and far too nice to be a middle name Smile

It makes me think of the goddess, love classical names.

I also think it's different enough to be usual but not wacky, and easy to spell.

I don't like it - I much prefer either Matilda or Claudia (I don't like India or other 'place' names).

I'm with Debs please please call her Juno! It's a fabulous name and goes brilliantly with Honor. I would have definitely used Juno for a girl but I had all boys! I liked it way before the film. Grin
