I cannot for the life of me whittle down this short list,I think it's because I need good middle names for them.
Surname is double barrelled (3 syllables in total)

We were considering using a family mn (Mabel or Nicholas) but the combos aren't grabbing us at the moment...so,inspiration needed on middle names for these first names!

First name list,Girls:

Etta
Ida
Vita
Merryn
Sylvie
Romy
Mabel

First name list,Boys:

Idris
Rafe
Kit
Otis
Rufus
Jude

DD2 has the middle name Joy which is beautiful and under used I think, but I also think that it goes with most names so will not be any help if you do like it in whittling down the list!

Sorry Grin

I'd quite like a longish middle name,
Or one with a bit of 'impact' like Hero or Hera...or...umm...Juno...but not those I don't think.

I'm not sure,I lean towards one,and then re read the list and fall for the others again, none are sticking out,it's driving me a bit nuts Confused
DP likes them all and is happy for me to choose one,so...I'm stuck!

Athene is beautiful

Etta Romilly Mabel flows well.

It is so hard. Don't torture yourself, wait until you meet her or him. You have a lovely list.

I'm liking Demelza...

Etta was the top of the list for ages, but someone on another thread commented, saying it was lovely but not if our surname was Carrot, and now I can't get the 'Ate-a' connotations out of my head.

Greta might replace it...
