What I you think? Do you think it's too masculine? I'm not a fan of very frilly or girls names but am worried other people might think it's ugly. I think I might just love it though.

Similar suggestions are welcome.

Oops... It should read 'girly' names not 'girls' names. Obviously I want a girl's name or our little girl!

I love it. Love it. Love it. This would be my first choice for a DD but I keep having boys and Ramon doesn't feel quite the same. Smile

I really like Ramona. I flirted with it quite seriously for DD2.

A yes from me (obviously, given my name). Have you read the Ramona books by Beverly Cleary? A funny, feisty, cool heroine If you have a Ramona you have to get them.

Grin now no one I know had better use it in the next couple of months. I'm chuffed I've thought of a great name dh loves too as he was the one who came up with the winner for dc1. I'm too competitive to let him find the best name this time!

Beatrice - I vaguely remember reading one of them when I was at junior school but can't remember much about it

It's a great name, top of my list for my imaginary 3rd child!

Yay, I still have my Ramona the Pest book by Beverly Clearly. She's not really a pest but a lovely, funny, feisty, no-nonsense little girl who's very endearing.

Ok, enough now with the loving of Ramona... I don't want it getting too popular. I was a bit scared of the baby names board but now I think you're all lovely.

pipkins I think that was why it was in my mind. Does anyone else search tv credits for baby name ideas?
