Might be a problem 2 syllable names each starting with B?

Debbie (too many Bs with Brophy?)
Suzie
Lori
Terri
Judy
Cindy
and of course, Sandy.

Loving Kitty, Betsy, Pearl, Peggy and Martha so far! So what is the general consensus about Betty Brophy? Is it too matchy matchy or could we get away with it?

It really reminds me of Betty Boop to be honest.

If Betty was the nickname and Elizabeth the full name, I think it's lovely.

Well if you like it then go for it! But will your DD like it when she is fifteen and twenty and thirty?

I think Betty Brophy sounds excellent. Maybe call her Elizabeth so that she has options when she's older if that's a concern?
