My youngest is Edward. I wanted to call him Ted, but DH objected and he's Ed (or baby, or Pud) I'm still convinced that Teddy would have suited him.

Love it my bump is having as middle name and dc already refer to him as 'little Ted' first name Hamish so has choice when he's accepting his Noble prize if he was a formal or nick name

Aw, my dad was Teddy, and I have a lot of affection for it. It's one of those older nicknames that sounds very acceptable again.
