My favourite girls name ever is Lettice. Unfortunately this has been vetoed by everyone I've ever mentioned it to, so looking for a compromise.

I like Maude, Nell, Oswin and Alys. Any other suggestions along these lines?

Nell is lovely. Not keen on others.

Lettice is lovely - but if you are not comfortable with others' opinions, why not go for:
Letitia or or Laetitia or Lettie/Letty

Thanks telsa, I knew I couldn't be the only one to like Lettice. Jemima is very sweet.

My mother was at school with a Lettice Hutchins. How rabbit themed can you get?
