What do we think of Bruno?

MissLurkalot · 22/02/2013 20:04

I'm loving boys names that end with an 'o'.
I like Hugo, for the same reason, but I just think it's a bit much.
So, I came across Bruno, and I love it.
But, would welcome any opinions/possible red flags/other suggestions.

The name of a labrador I knew as a child. Bruno and Hemingway. I kid you not.

Sorry.

For a dog, yes. For a boy, no.

I love it and would have considered it for dc2 but dd1 has blonde hair and Bruno means 'brown' so would seem odd.

Love it Smile. DD was going to be Bruno if she was a boy.

I really like it and always thought of it in the sense of nice Italian name perfect for brown eyed/brown haired boy although when admitted it was on our short list we got the dog name comments & boxer connections which put off DH but had never occurred to me.I've never met a dog called it but have met a couple of lovely boys called Bruno so I would say,go for it!
