What do the names say to you? Which do you think is the nicest? I am not pg but am ttc DC3 this year. We already have 2 sons named Joseph and Rowan. If DC3 is a boy we have a boys' name already lined up which is Oliver.

Bethan. So pretty and I think underused.

I love Bethan, always been one of my faves but weirdly I can not stand BethanY, should this put me off that people may mistake her for a bethany?!

I have a bethan, and people do call her Bethany which I don't like. She's only 4 but is good at saying ' my name is bethan' it gets shortened to Beth aswell but I like that

My Bethan is the only one we've met in this part of the country and she does very occasionally get called Bethany but its not a big deal. She did get shortened to Beth at nursery, but she's Bea amongst family and . Still love her name, so definitely my preference in your list Smile

I've got a Bethan, she's never been called Bethany (which is a name I don't like either), very occasionally she's been called Beth but the most times people have got her name wrong they've called her Megan! She's called Bethan, Bethy or Boo (!) at home and not shortened everywhere else but I imagine at some point she'll end up as Beth, although probably not by us.

Rare name here too, have come across two but not in same age or friend group. Imagine it's more popular in Wales! We chose it because dh's family are welsh but also because it's easy to spell and pronounce but isn't very common but isn't too different either.

Annie, annie, annie. Our DD would have been an Annie but it rhymes with her big bro's name. Having said that I like them all.

Bethan!!! Love it :)

My favourite is Annie.

I would choose it because I don't like Beth (which I suspect would be an automatic nn) and I know a huge number of Graces.

Annie. I once knew a Bethan who was a right trollop and it's really put me off the name.

Annie Grace is lovely (although perhaps not the best choice if you have a DD with ginger curly hair a la Annie!

I probably like Annie best. Grace is nice too. I prefer Bethany to Bethan.

Bethan or Annie. you can't move for Graces and Gracies

Annie.

I don't like Bethan much, seems a bit incomplete as a name. Grace is wonderful but super popular, just everywhere.

Annie is lovely.

I really like Annie. Grace is a nice name, very popular at the moment though and tbh is a bit too girly for me.
Bethan is not to my taste, but I do love the name Beth.

I have a 3 yr old Bethan and I still love the name, although I admit to calling her Bob for short (!). We very rarely meet another, and I too dislike 'Bethany'. It seems like a totally different name. Funnily enough, like a previous poster, if someone gets het name wrong they usually call her Megan! Love the name Beth too. I met some extraordinary Beths when I was teaching, which helps.

Annie is cute but suits a child rather than an adult. So Anna with Annie as a nn if you want. She then has a choice which name to use as an adult. I am biased!
