I know a girl Nairne as well if that's any use?

I used to love Rowan but OH vetoed it, I had boys and now I think there are quite a few about. Don't like Olive but Lois I really like. Others not that fussed. There is a kitchen showroom called Wren so that would put me off I think.

What about Rory?

Hhhm Nairne is interesting but sounds a bit more male I think, I love Rowan and would say it as Ro-an but I know some people say it as Raow-an so a but worried about that.

Jude Wilson is cool. How about Andie?

In Scotland it's definitely the latter pronunciation.

Is it another unisex name you are after?

Jaime?

or just a short not overly fussy name:

Zoe?
Mabel?

All great suggestions open to Girly names but nothing too elaborate, we are in Scotland so I guess Rowan would be pronounced lot rhyme with cow hmmm

Rowan Wilson sounds like the actor's name - Owen Wilson. I don't really think he's that famous though but every now and then he seems to a) go out with someone who is or b) have a film out and appear everywhere.

Wren Wilson is a bit of a tongue-twister for some reason - I don't think it's got the right flow.

Robyn, Lois and Olive are all very nice with your surname. Perhaps Lois and Ellis are a bit too matchy though.

Suggestions:
Alanis
Aubrey
Avery
Carys
Devon
Garnet
Harper
Hollis
Jesse or Jessie
Jordan
Sasha
Teagan
Tiernan
