Baby names

Just can't find any traditional but not too popular boys names.

We don't know the sex yet but have lots of nice girls names to call our baby expected in May. But boys we are really struggling with. I love Charlie, Thomas and Oliver but these are all in the top ten names.

Other ones I like are Frederick or Edward but DH not keen on either as he doesn't like the nn for them.

Any ideas? Can't begin with an A as have family middle names x2 that start with A and can't begin with H as our surname begins with it.

Some of these names I think were so overused when I was at school in the 70s that I just sort of don't even consider them. Is that wrong?!

Names like Jonathan, David, Robert, John, Peter were popular in the 70s but aren't any more. I have a Jonathan and he has always been the only one in his class/scout group etc. At the primary school he has recently left there are no boys at all with any of these names.

ng, I know what you mean I am early 70's classes full of Stephens, Garys, Pauls, Michaels and Barrys Grin, maybe look further back for a really old traditional one like Bert? (love that Grin)

Daniel would have been high on our list if baby had been a girl. Or Andrew. Smile
