I'm due in 3 weeks, and although there are a lot of names we like, there are none we LOVE!
For a girl we like names along the lines of
Sophie - way too popular
Darcy
Elsie may - my nanas names

For boys ...... Well ... not a clue!!! We have ds1 called Cole
I'm not keen on harry/Alfie ect

I don't want something that's too popular, but then not too "out there"

Based on the names above can anybody sprinkle any inspiration dust out way :-)

Okay!

Darcy Elsie is lovely...
I also like that both Cole and Darcy have the same meaning, I think that's sweet.

I do agree that Sophie is very popular, however I do like it.

Boys: Ethan, Caleb, Liam, Owen, Gavin, Jensen, Connor, Blake, Logan, Riley, Kai and Sonny.

Would you consider Noah to be too popular and or Harrison?

Girls: Chloe, Abigail, Zoe, Hannah

Would you go with a unisex name? Like Avery, Riley or Alexis?

Darcy Elsie together is too much...both lovely, not together.

Ohhh I hadn't even realised Cole and Darcy have the same meaning!! That makes me like it a little more Smile

We already have a Chloe and a Noah in our close friends both lovely names though, I quite like Logan though and it goes nicely with our surname x

Darcy is for a boy, Darcey is for a girl...or so I'm lead to believe!

I think for a girl Darcey is lovely.

Darcy means 'dark' and Cole means 'coal-black, charcoal' here

What about Brodie for a boy?

Saying that I do know a girl called Brodie, but imho it's much better suited for a wee boy.

Elsie is cute but there are 3 billion Sophies about at the moment.
Arden is not dissimilar and I know a gorgeous little girl called Arden.
Or Sylvia?

Keir or Ciar also means dark (as does Ciara/Keira for a girl or Keiran/Ciaran for a boy)

or. what about Fraser, Gregor, Ramsay, Craig or Struan

for girls:

Edith, Alice, Lucy, Carla, Kirsty or Natasha
