Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a good night sleep!!

Has anyone got any sugesstions for girlie names that are unusual.

My partner and I can't agree on any names, we picked - Chelsea, Sienna, Morgan, Summer, Darcey, Ashleigh.

We're really stuck can you help!!!!

At the pre-school I work in we have a Piper, Bailey, Armani, Renae, Fern, Fleur and Ronniece which are pretty unusual imho. I think Scarlet is lovely and Seren.

we had pehobe or Kira or Kyah (depending on my mood for the spelling) my cousin's little girl is Lois which is unusual I think.

The names you have chosen so far are pretty, but not v original. Have a look at some old threads in archived topics. there's hundreds on there. Hope that helps!

There is a Hermione at my DD2s toddler group and there is a Germaine at my DD1s school. I once taught a Arabesque (!!?!!) and her older sister was Angelique..

I was going to suggest Jade (I love the stone) but remembered BB and thought better not!! :)

Someone I worked with called her DD Marla. I had never come across the name before & thought it was pretty.

Oh, one of the most unusual & pretty names I have come across was Ynes - pronounced E - nes.
I thought it was a really striking name & had never come across it before or since.
We have a little girl in our class called Eleri, which is also pretty unusual.

With DD1,we had an agreement-I chose the girls and he chose the boys. Obviously, you have to like it to a certain point!

dd1 Darragh (usually boys name in Ireland)
dd2 Caoimhe (keeva - meaning beautiful girl)

don't have a clue for next baby so would like help too. would like to stick to Irish theme though.

i have a question .. i came up with the name Istara kind of out of the blue .. like from a dream but i have no clue what it means ... can u tell me???????? it wud mean a lot .. tthanx

Well, Ishtar is the name of a Goddess, and I think Istara might be a derivative of that. Not a bad choice, really
