Baby names

Oscar...what?

My 5 day old baby boy does not have a name yet! He was going to be Elijah, we only decided this about 3 days before he was born! (At 42+6!!). He doesn't look like an Elijah at all! Or Jonah which was our back up name!

So, now we have gone back to the drawing board... have come up with Oscar, Luca or Zachary. Jacob would be the middle name for both Luca and Zachary. But I don't like it with Oscar. Can anyone suggest a middle name for Oscar?

I think I'm swaying towards Oscar... but I need to find a middle name to suit! I want him to have one as my other DS has one, and it flows nicely as a whole name.

Thank you!!

I like James, but it doesn't sound right for me! With surname added anyway!

I love Luca! Is that deffo out if the equation??

If so, and it's Oscar then what about The following as middle names:

Charles
Rory
Toby (Tobias)
William
Thomas

I think we are definitely swayed to Oscar now! T names are out, surname begins with T! As is Th/F names!

Charles is my dad - no chance of naming after him! And Oscar Charlie... lol!

Rory... I'm not keen on!

William - don't like it with Oscar, though like it as a name!

Yes - I like Oscar Sebastian too not that it matters what a random we of t'internet thinks! I think they're of the same

I'm currently 40+3 and up scouring the baby books for a name for our first DC (who is a DS). Flippin nightmare as DH so fussy!

I'll post anything else that I see that might go but I think Oscar Sebastian is the best so far.

I have 4 boys, and if ever there was a 5th, he'd be an Oscar (probably Theodore in the middle, but you've said that won't fit). Smile

We have an Oscar William. I just picked William one day out of nowhere.

He gets called ' wee Oscar Willy ' he's 13 so you can imagine his face!

I like Oscar Alexander, Oscar James and Oscar Rafferty.

How about Oscar Benjamin?

Imo Oscar Sebastian sounds like a bit of a mangle...the 's' sounds are too close together
