Really dislike.

But I don't like any Virtue names. Think it's the religious connotations.

I love it. Don't think it needs a nickname.

It's a very mumsnet name! I like it, like the idea of shortening to V.

Reminds me of the pcos forum....bu then I have pcos and use it, but I imagine a lot of people may associate it with that. Apart from that its just ok.

Makes me think of The Crow Road - which isn't a bad thing.

Ash was cooler though really.

I love it, one of my cousins 19yo has this name, she is lovely, hence I love the name :-) My aunt got the idea for the name from a character in Miss Marple apparently!
She is usually just called Verity but occasionally I hear "Ver" pronounced "Vair" or simply "V" / "Vee" but only from her siblings and close friends.

Poncetastic. Upper MC. Dull. Uptight. Just not pretty.

I have a friend called Verity, she's Veri, V, Vegs...

I like it, it means The Truth in Latin I think.

I love it. I knew a grown up one years ago, she was a great laugh.

I used to really like it, until someone on here said Ferrety. Sorry.

I just think of Verity Treacle, so I think it's horrible. But I may be alone in that

I don't have a problem with virtue names, but it isn't a particularly nice-sounding word to my ears.
