Just whacking this in there as a suggestion for anybody birthing atm.

My great-grandmother was born in Queen Victoria's Golden jubilee year. Her name?

Amelia (fine)

Emma (yes, very nice)

Jubilee (wtf)

Victoria (overkill)

She reacted against this and called her dds Joan and Vera. No middle names.

But still it's out there as a possible.....Grin

HTH!

I think Jubilee would be a fantastic middle name!

I kinda like Elizabeth- but not if it's going to be in the top 10 this year. Is that a given do you think?

Report
Northernlurker · 01/06/2012 23:01

I possibly should mention that my middle name is Elizabeth - want to guess the year I was born?

SPB - NO announcements here. I've shut up shop on babies.

I do actually know someone with the middle name Jubilee. I
And her first name is even stranger, seriously! Confused Now that I know her well and she is completely lovely, she suits her name and I'm used to it.

There was a girl in my class at school called Queen Elizabeth. She wasn't born in a jubilee year or anything.

Jubilee is growing on me.
As an alternative to Corgi and Monarchy what about Windsor and Balmoral? Or Sandringham?
