Chicco Essential Digital Video Baby Monitor - Opinions?

Looking to get a new baby monitor, we're fed up of having monitors that only kick in after the baby has started crying. We want one that's constantly on and like the idea of the video monitor, will definitely come in handy when DS is a bit older and trying to escape!! Come across the Chicco and it seems rather good, just wanted to see if anyone else had one and what the pros and cons were.
