We currently have a Samsung one. The handset is about dead as minimal battery life running on it. So we want a new one. Plus addition of dd2 means addition of second camera so we thought to bite the dust and buy a new one with two cameras.

Have tried new version but it has too many alarms going off which cannot be disabled, it either vibrates or makes a noise but you cannot turn these off so when in bed you can't sleep for alarms on temp, movement etc. it drove me bats!!!!! I just don't need that many alarms, I appreciate some want them but I'd like to have switch off options to decide myself.

Are luvion or summer any good?

Thanks all

I'd be keen to know too. We have 2 tomy ones. The audio one packed up today and the video one has almost died twice lately. Looking at getting something with one parent unit and 2 cameras (one for each child's room) and want vox as a feature. Having a camera that pans would be good too. The luvion looks like it does all that we want bar the panning camera. The Samsung has vox but it doesn't turn the screen off apparently once activated by noise. The summer one doesn't have vox and the Motorola doesn't have vox either. Any others to be considered or is the luvion best of a bad bunch?

Have ordered a new samsung sew 3037wn today. Vox does turn itself off according to someone who sells them and camera pans and does everything we need. Some reviews say it has an annoying jingle when turned on and watched a you tube video and see what they mean but we never turn ours off so not an issue for me. It arrives tomorrow morning and hoping its all I expect it to be!

Hi, not sure what they are like but I just posted this: You can get 20% off Angelcare Monitors. You have to join their FREE family club but then they send you great offers. There are also many other benefits (e.g. deals on nappies, free delivery, etc.): click here for more information or to join

They also do video baby monitors too.

Hi ya,

We bought this one www.online4baby.com/phillips-avent-digital-scd600-video-baby-monitor by Phillips / Avent. I love it, the quality is really good and it has a remote lullaby button if your baby wakes up to help soothe them and night vision too :) We bought ours from Online4baby.com, Next day delivery was free too and just noticed that they now do a 1 hour delivery slot text service.
