BABY MONITORS - VIDEO VERSUS PLAIN AUDIO

Hello. Just wondered if anyone had purchased a video baby monitor recently that they could recommend, and also if it's a lot better than a plain digital sound one. Have read mixed reviews. Many thanks.

in the same boat... Not sure what to do. One of my friends had her niece overnight recently and said video monitor was god send, had she just had audio she would have been in checking on her at every little noise but being able to see that she was ok saved lots of trips up the stairs!!
