Alpaca felt - where to sell it?

(4 Posts)
I would be willing to buy some of the felt, Machu.
wow sounds great - you could list them on folksy or etsy as lots of people shop for supplies there too.
Are there any local spinning/weaving/dyeing guilds? They always have a good idea on how much these things normally cost or you could ask these lovely people for advice.

Can I ask where your mum had her fleeces spun please? I have 3 Wensleydale fleeces to process and wondered if there was a company which would spin them ?

Also, envy at alpacas.

My mum has two alpacas and has just had the fleeces spun with the remnants made into felt. There are 12 large pieces (1 x 0.5m approx)and 8 are brown, 4 white. She is hoping to sell them on the internet, and I've had a look on ebay and was just wondering whether any of you bought/sold such things on other sites? Also, does anyone know what sort of price pieces like this might go for?

TIA

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
