Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

Hmmmm...not sure if its going to get here in time to be honest as I need it for Tuesday and dh has just informed me it's a bank holiday here on Monday! (so prob no post!)
Thank you so much anyway!

Stupid nursery's fault really for the short notice! She only goes twice a week and they rarely tell us about events as she is only there so little. Last time dh had to drive back home to pick up a teddy for a teddy bears picnic they hadn't told us about! Didn't want her to be the only one without one!
not sure, am happy to put it in the post for you over the weekend if that is soon enough for you.

if you want me to then email me.

DD has to dress up as her favourite jungle animal next week at nursery! Any ideas where I should start?

Obviously 'favourite' jungle animal has now been replaced with 'any jungle animal that is easily made into a costume'

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
