You might have seen hemp jewelry that are simple to look though beautiful but inexpensive. You can make the hemp bracelets easily with the addition of few beads, and that looks great. This article will educate you on how to make hemp bracelets.
Making hemp bracelets are simple and real fun. You can do it during a long journey in order to break the boredom. Just learn the basic knots with twine and beads and this would help you to pass the time and personalize your creativity and style.
Prior to understanding how to make hemp bracelets, it is essential to know how to prepare the hemp. friendship bracelets

Do you have connections with fun2make? Only you've mentioned it in 3 out of 4 of the posts you've made. Just curious

Could I suggest you look at the www.fun2make.co.uk website where they sell 20 scoubidous with clear instructions for just 75p. We found them really useful!!
I just want to know how to do them.....

My girlie laughed and said 'stupid mummy!!'

Right girlies....I am hitting town later on today....WHO WANTS SOME SCOUBIES????????
I have a Q.........how the hell do you actually do them.

My 9yr old has come home with one to do over the weekend, and I got totally frustrated. I don't understand them, and she can't explain them! I have looked at the links, but I still have no clue! Am I totally thick, or is it just not easliy explained.

I don't like to admit defeat on this, and nor does she....she has left hers at home and is going to say she forgot it. I would love to have done it for her when she gets back.

If all else fails I will go buy some wool and make some freindship bracelets for her....I know how to do those!!!
I think Essbee might be interested

OK - Jumping the gun there. I would have sent you a CAT, but I think you've changed your name and I can't do it.

Are you now Jayzmummy?
Add message | Report | Contact poster By Wed 30-Mar-05 21:05:34
Jaysmum - I wonder if you still have any of these packs? (I haven't seen them round here.) If you have any larger packs left, can you let me know how much for two packs plus postage, and your address and I'll send a cheque off to you.

I've sent you a CAT today

Roisin
You are a star JaysMum, thank you so much!
I have a couple of orders to make and then I can start working on a few new designs with them.[oo...excited emoticon]

Dingle I have got your scoobys for you.....I bought loads.....it obviously is talking off down here slowly because they had sold out of the smaller packs off 100 for £1 and now have bigger packs 100 1 metre lengths at £2per peack.....but lots of lovely colours, glittery ones, pearlescent, brights and pastels.....I also managed to get some smaller packs elsewhere for £1.29...

If anyone else wants any....let me know....
Add message | Report | Contact poster By Mon 21-Mar-05 08:52:28
Oh wow - I never new what these were called but i always loved them - spent hours twiddling them - Definitely tempted to buy some!!!
Bumping for Dingle! I've still not broken into the pack i've already got. No time! Too busy hunting down instructions for an origami goldfish that you inflate

Our local Bitz store is fab for odds and sods.....its a local chain down here in the SW.

I am going into town on Tuesday morning and will be stocking up on a few bags.

They have pearlised colours which are very pretty and a rainbow pack of primary colours including black and white. There are 100 threads all measuring 30 inches long in each pack for £1.

They had loads of bags in there last week and I should imagine they still have as its not such a big craze down here at the moment.....things do tend to take a while to hit us down here in the sticks!!!

I really dont mind grabbing a few extra bags if anyone wants them.....just let me know by CAT. If you send me the money for them with a SAE then I can drop them in the post to you.

Anything to help fellow crafties.
The 100 pack seems so cheap compared to the 35 though - odd. Only £1 extra.

Maybe Jaysmum can sart up a mini business posting the £1 bags from whatever store "Bitz" is.
There must have sold out of the 100 pack!

Have a look

They also had some neon strands, but I thought the prices were rather high compared to what has been mentioned on here!

Didn't have any at our local newsagents either!
Try Ebay

I can get these for £1 a bag....seems such a rip off to be paying so much more for them when you can get them so much cheaper elsewhere.....
These

Were they glittery ones or special colours? Mine's a bag of plain colours, 100 stands, and I'm sure it was £4.99.
Went to Toys'r'us this morning! They only had various bags with either 25 or 35 strands in and were charging £3.99 or £4.99 per bag!!

I am off to our local newsagents later to see if they have any lurking about.
hiya,
have a look in your local newsagents/ minimart. every one I have been to has these in there. one had them for 89p each big bag. normal and glitter but another shop i went in I saw a much smaller bag for more.

I can get a bag off a hundred+ threads for £1 from our local Bitz store......I use the different coloured threads on lots of my cards.....its ace stuff to use....I used one to make the hair for my skater boy on my card for the challenge!!!!!
If anyone wants me to grab some then CAT me and if you send me the £1 in a sae I'll happily get some for you.
My ds1 is always making stuff with them....wrist bands are the big thing here at the minute!!!
Well I am wondering if I could attach them to my cards! I have thought about the twine stuff or leather thonging to put on mens cards.
I suppose I could improvise but for the kiddies cards, the bright neon or glittery one would go down well, don't you think?
I have a Toys'r'us nearby,I will get down there and have a look.
If they don't have any SoupDragon, I might take you up on your offer at some stage. In the meantime, I will be on the look out for that snake!
I've had success making them from thickish coloured cord before. In case you've got some hanging around...
I can go to TrU tomorrow and send yu some, Dingle

I saw a picture of a snake and I want to know how to make one!

About £5 for <<rushes to get packet>> 100 bog standard ones. You can get glittery ones etc.
Add message | Report | Contact poster By Thu 17-Mar-05 12:41:43
pound shops are selling them for £1 for 35 strands
Add message | Report | Contact poster By Thu 17-Mar-05 12:41:10
Have you tried these ones?

here
and here

Looks fascinating - but my dd's only 2 1/2!
How much were they SoupDragon, and for how many. I have been on the look out for these but have had no luck. I have seen them in the Panduro Catalogue, but if I place an order from there, I simply won't be able to resist all their other crafty goodies! I will end up spending a small fortune!

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
