Team Hooker, now with added pictures :)

Whilst on holiday recently, I finished a hat and started a blanket. The blanket will have at least 200 4" squares in the end so I have a little way to go!

Lovely colours Owl.
I've just finished this blanket, it's only granny squares but I'm quite pleased with it.
I've got two others on the go, a diagonal box stitch and along wave and last night I though about starting a flowers in snow blanket as well.

Wow they are both lovely. I have finished my first read only project of a raindrops cushion from attic24.
That's a nice hat, where did you get the pattern for it?

That's lovely Norah, can I ask what yarn you used?

Yay! Responses and fabulous pictures :) Both use colour palettes I am fond of.

I made the hat pattern up [preen]

I've also made up the spot pattern too to meet my personal design requirements. I just hope it works out like I see it in my head!

Thank you you're being too kind though, Grin I 'm too chicken to try a blanket right now so am ultra impressed by your blankets they seem like something to aspire to. Smile i have started my next cushion - same colours but in a granny stripe this time. I'm making 4 all together, there will also be a ripple one and a blooming flowers one.

aJumpedUpPantryBoy I used hayfield bonus dk, stylecraft special dk and patons fab so I could get the colours I wanted. I'm not over keen on the orange, it works in theory as part of the garden theme but in that picture looks a bit ' ooh look at me'

OwlCapone your hat is fab, well worth preening over Grin if you ever decide to share the pattern could you make it extremely easy for a beginner to read?Wink pictures, description of what each stitch is....
I've made a few winter hats but need a few summer hats too now.

Have a look at the Spice colour on Stylecraft DK. It's a burnt orange rather than look At Me.

The hat was easy, but my pattern was "make a flat circle tip he right size for your head, stop increasing and just crochet round til the bucket fits your head, restart for flat circle increases to form the brim." I tend to wing it a lot!! The most complicated bit was that i decided to make the colours spiral but there is no need for that at all. I matched the size to an existing fabric hat I have that fits (I have a large head!)

I just finished this.

On the 29th June I found the blue yellow green hexagons and decided to make some more to use up some pink, purple, and light blue yarn.

Then it all got a bit obsessive and around a hundred hexagons later, all with a black join-as-you-go border added and a granny stylee border to finish I have a fabulous blankie!! :o

I have just finished a tea cosy for my cleaner. I will sew on the buttons and post a photo after trauma time bedtime.

Here's my tea cosy.

I love looking at other people's projects, especially their use of colour. Sometimes I get sucked into Ravelry and lose hours.

It's wonderful :) I think it's a shame that I don't use a teapot as I do love a tea cosy.

FolknNorah that cushion is just as lovely as the first. How many are you going to make for a compete set?

Lovely tea cosy.
Yellow and blue look great together.

folknNorah, you're crocheting at a rate of knots! I bet your settee looks great with its crocheted cushions.

I love the zigzag pattern and lose days in ravelry and wool warehouse amongst other retail establishments Wink.

Thank you, yes, the granny stripe was really quick, am now on a ripple cushion cover (there are 4 in total) which I did wrong somehow at first so it didn't ripple so I re did the first row (which was hell btw) and it is all good now.
The final cushion cover will be in the vintage pattern on artic24 blog I have decided. All the same colours but different ways of doing it IySWIM? Granny and ripple aren't random, raindrops and the next one are/will be.

Here is a bag I made for myself that I love. The colours are much nicer irl (honest)

I mostly make toys and bits and bobs. Blankets seem like to huge a project!

I'm psyching myself up to try a clothing item....

FolknNorah Love the bag. I really enjoy making crocheted bags as they have a real purpose at the end and get used a lot I have 4. I will ferret out the photos.

VirtualPointyHat Great blanket! I think I may have to start planning DS1's uni blanket even though he's 3 years of going. I'm not good at finishing blankets!

CinnamonPlums They're great :) I like making small things as you usually have an end date in sight, unlike a blanket! Blankets are daunting but they do look impressive if you manage to finish them.

Oh the toys are lovely Grin. I am a bit of a fan girl over anyone who makes a blanket tbh. Wink

I'd love to make some clothing too, I've knitted baby things but I want to (crochet) make kid stuff now.

I have a very short attention span, so big projects end up being half done. But all these are lovely. My last thing was tiny 50s style brooches of baskets of flowers.
