Anyone got a Jaytrim account?

They sell various crafty goodies, wholesale. But only wholesale. I haven't got a business but they have a big bag of buttons that I really love and want.

It's not urgent. But if anyone has an account and would get me a bag next time they order I would be ever so grateful.

Could you contact the company and tell them you are 'test marketing' [or whatever it's called these days :) ] and you need them to make samples?

Members of the public who require any of our products should contact us by email. We will send details of a retailer who can help either locally or by mail order

From their website. Worth a try!

I want a bag of 100 buttons though and they are usually sold by retailers in small bags and they work out too £££. Not worth me getting an order on my own as they have a really high carriage charge.

Not too worry, it's a trivial problem Grin and I will work out a plan b.

I have a Jaytrim account but cannot find enough to order for my Ebay shop to meet their minimum order limit. I have other suppliers who sell in big bags - which particular ones did you want?

I need would really like a bag of 100 Fine Style Star buttons size 28. They are assorted colours with white polka dots. www.jay-trim.co.uk/detail.asp?stockid=K79028&ref=subcats%2Easp%3Ft%3D%26qfcode%3D%26catid%3DBUT10%26manuid%3DFINESTYLE%26keywords%3D%26minprice%3D%26maxprice%3D

aaaargh. My regular supplier sells the heart version and round ones, but not the stars! They may have them at the warehouse just not online, but I'm not able to get up there for a while to check. If I'm lucky and can go (think kid in a sweetshop Grin) then I'll buy a bag and pm you - if you don't want them by then, I can just sell them in my shop.

If I can build up enough of an order with Jaytrim I'll pm you to see if you still want them.

Oh yes please. YY to kid in a sweetshop. I have been very naughty on the wool front and now have quite a stash of Wollmeise, Posh Yarn, other indie dyers plus loads of bargain finds. Buttons enable me to use some up pathetic excuse

It's not urgent at all - I had a few of them, loved them and used them up.

If you might get some in the next 6 months, please add a bag for me. I've been here 7 years and sure to still be about Grin

We need to set up a "mock" MN business for just this kind of scenario.

I hope you're not getting me into trouble with MN Police Grin

On a serious note, I'm always looking for new things to sell. This started out from my hobbies - cross stitch, jewellery making and card making mainly. Then MiL wanted some sewing stuff. But then I got a little lost and wasn't sure what else to sell, so if there is anything you want at a reasonable price, let me know and I'll see if I can find it.

I can't always get things quickly as I have to wait until I can reach minimum order levels, but I've now got accounts at several suppliers and tend to place a couple of orders a month.

You won't be in trouble - I asked you Grin you can pay me later

Craft supplies are rarely urgently needed though, are they? Mine mostly get added to a huge stash of stuff that I won't get around to for years months.
