I'm doing a blanket made with 15 large and 100 small granny squares. It's going to be a surprise for my mum.

I'm half way through a hoody for DD. Its my first time reading a pattern rather than doing it from a youtube video. Its going quite well if I do say so myself!

I'm doing a circle in square granny blanket, a collar in 2 ply which is very fiddly, and a boat wall hanging thing for DS.

I really want to make a start on a dress for me, but should get some of the above progressed first. A unicorn is on the list too!

Have just finished a hat for me and a toy elephant for DHs colleagues new baby. Had done an infinity scarf for preschool raffle at Christmas, plus 10 crochet snowflakes for staff presents.

Am now tackling this for my sister.

Also have a granny stripe blanket on the go, along with another afghan for DD. and the wool and a pattern for a jumper for myself (eventually).

I have two more squares and the edging of a Billie Blanket to do and I have bought the yarn to make a ripple blanket for DD1's best friend to take to Uni with her in the autumn.

My niece wants me to make her a Christening Shawl for her baby daughter, to go with the crocheted Christening dress that I made for my niece. I am half heatedly searching for wool in cream 2ply to match.

Ive already made three baby ripples,so I thought Id try something different.

Scissors that afghan looks amazing!

I would like to make a huge circles in square blanket, but Ill see how the cot-sized one works out first.

Another ripple here, in RICO Creative Cotton. It goes in fits & starts but one day - one day - I'm determined to finish! It's only lap-blanket size, too Blush

That's the one I'm doing too PrettyPirate. It's beautiful isn't it. Really clear instructions I think too.

I did change the white round little bit, it didn't look right to me. I can't remember now what I did, it's written down somewhere... I do have a photo on my profile too.
Now I've just decided to finish all the 'flowers' first and then start joining them all. About 40 more flowers to go at the moment...

Only been crocheting 3 weeks and am already addicted. Just finished a scarf for me and a smaller one for DD. On to a crochet hook roll in The Complete Guide to Crochet magazine... not totally sure I understand the pattern though, so could take a while Grin

Yet another Ripple-er here! I got the wool for Christmas & started mid Jan. I'm doing 10 repeats, I think, and it's somewhere between single and double bed sized.

17 colours and I'm on row 21. Of many!

Determined to make this perfect, so lots of pulling out at the beginning, but now (touch wood) it's going OK.

mumineedapooooo · 16/02/2013 12:23

I'm doing a granny stripe which I just keep adding to Inbetween bunging it on the pram and a granny square patchwork.

Does anyone have a pattern/can advise a quick way to knock up some baby mittens i.e. don't need thumbs. Would I just decrease at the top few rows? Eg tr2tog? Newbie, sorry! Grin
