Its a great site. They run swaps of all kinds, CALs, Random Acts of Kindness things. They have there own pattern directory as well. It is an American run site but has members from all over the World. From the UK to Austrailia and everywhere in between. If you want somewhere to show off your projects, get help if you need it, have contact with pattern designers and other professionals of the crocheting world, then head over there. Just say Skoggy sent you .
