Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy evenweave by the metre?

Until recently I've been buying my cross stitch fabric at Hobbycraft but since about October they seem only to stock aida, not evenweave. I've been looking online and thought if I had to pay postage each time I'd be more economical buying a larger quantity (2 metres maybe) to keep me going, but this seems to be very pricey and most suppliers seem to sell in fat quarters. Can anyone recommend a supplier who either sells reasonably priced fabric by the metre, or with free P&P?

Sew and so seem to do quite big sizes. Not quite by the metre as they do it pre cut but their pre cut stuff goes up to 140cm so its a pretty huge amount! I use them lots and have always found their pricing and p&p very reasonable Xmas Grin

Thanks Piffy. I have looked there and at Willow Fabrics but by the time you add your P&P on, I'm ending up paying twice what I was for evenweave when I could buy it in a shop. There seem to be lots of bargains for floss on eBay but not for fabric.

Do you have a local stitch shop. There is a wool shop in my town that sells evenweave. The shop has been there forever so she doesnt advertise that she does stuff other than wool. If you have an independent haberdasher or craft/wool shop in your town it might be worth asking them. My lady has various types and colours of fabric but she keeps them in the stockroom so you dont know until you ask Grin.

My lady would probably sell over the phone too and post to you, if you would like her details feel free to pm me Smile
