Hi all :-)

I've just found mumsnet, so thought I would say hello and introduce myself.

I'm Jules, married with 4 children. Chelsea is 10, Joseph is 8, Tiegan is 4, and Callum is almost 9 months.

We live in Devon.

I home educate the children so they no longer go to school, and I make cards to sell in my (ha ha) spare time.

Craft wise, I've done a bit of this and a bit of that for years. Most things have been tried, from knitting and egg-craft, to encaustic art and cross stitch.

I look forward to being an active member of the site and getting to know you all.

Love Jules x

Hi Jules, I am sure you will fit in no problems!Grin

I an a SAHM of 2. My DS is 6 and my DD is 4 ( she has Down Syndrome, so at times I feel more like a therapist than a mum!) I suppose that's mainly why crafting is so important to me..it's my ME time.

Hi Jules, welcome to A&C. I have a 2.5 year old and only really got serious about cardmaking 6 months ago. I have just started scrapbooking. It's terribly addictive, so is Mumsnet...Smile

Welcome Jules.

Welcome to MN.

I'm in wales now (at Uni) but was raised in Somerset and lived there until last summer, so fairly local to you. We do the Devon carnivals too so we go down a bit.

It is a nice friendly site, everyone is lovely Grin

LOl- mass exodus from the South West to Wales (LAyla didn't know you were from that way too!)

Have you visited the canny crafts website? A few miles from me, and that'll get you into Wales too Wink.

I'm doing a craft goodies swap in May if you want to join in (you get a lucky dip of a swap partner and then buy crafty gifts according to a themed criteria and post on- the theme will be Spring / Summer)

I will post a thread tor ecruit nearer the time.
