Tee Hee

OK! OK! SO I have finally succumbed and bought the Sizzix die cutter ( Yikes )

So now the next question is .... where can I get the dies ? Wink

'Specially the Alphabets ... which ones do you use the most and where can I get them ( cheaply )

Thanks

sizzlets alphabets are cheaper but then you need a convertor which is around £15. Worth getting.
Or you can get alphabars which are cheaper than single alphabet dies as there are 3 letters on each bar.
I have the doodle block alphabars and the pigeon toed charm alphabars. They're great and I use them a lot. Got my pTC froman ebay seller in the states who sells them for around £40 including postage which is far cheaper than anywhere here.

the market place on UKScrappers is often a good place to buy alphabets. Have a look regularly.

I have lower case lollipop alphabet and numbers. They're very useful for cards and for scrapbooking packs that I sell on my craft stall. I've also cut loads for my son's school.

I have Girls are Weird sizzlit set bought from the US. Nice sized letters but they are uneven in height
(see previous thread on GAW !)

I have the Sizzlit Playground and Boxed Brush and i love them. The problem I had was that I couldn't use them in the sizzix- something to do with me not the sizzlets. Asked advice, tried to sort it but couldn't so I ended up buying a Tagalong to cut them with and I LOVE them. I want another one now and am trying to source te alpha that I want.
I started off with Doodle Block but I wasn't keen on it although i know that YG loves hers so its horses for courses. I paid £35 for my doodle block brand new on ebay but the sizzlets cost more. The other upside with the sizzlets is that you get upper, lower and number in one set. With the sizzix alphas you only get upper, lower OR numbers

I want the 'fruit smoothie' set, but I can't find it anywhere except on ebay for £59.99 plus £15.00 postage (from States). Didn't someone on here know someone who could buy and post it cheaper? Please, pretty please, as this would take up all my money otherwise...

their prices are great but their service needs a little work.

shame really... I would love to order from them because I am impatient but I have always been hesitant.

Yes - you do have to beware of their 'customer service' but they are cheap ! (when they have the tock that is)

5% off order if you type 'five' in as a code Smile
