to tell you the truth, If you have the money and space, and you can carry it I would go for a sizzix as it can cut both original and sizzlits(sidekick dies)
The sidekick will prob be better for people who aren't going to get much use from a sizzix, have little space, need portability. also maybe for kiddies.

saying all this, remember the big shot is also coming out soon

just checked on grimsby craft website and its the same price.. i wonder why?? maybe not many people buys them cos of the cost of them

grimsby crafts says 44.99, where is the 29.99 one? would be great bargain.

i reckon some places will sell sizzix's cheaper now that big shot is on it's way
