Google salt dough recipe.

There are loads of ideas on there. I was going to do salt dough but it didn't cook well so I cheated and bought a tub of air drying clay from ELC.

I made stars, trees and holly leaves. DD has decorated them and they look fab.

that's an idea....will look in to that... a very good idea.

i was thinking more along the lines of cardboard and glitter and maybe the odd sequin as well.

Do you have some xmas biscuit cutters? You could make the shapes and just let your ds get on with the shapes.

I think you cook them for 15-20 mins. So he could decorate them in the same day.

I'm making my own gift boxes and I googled christmas templates and that came up with some good shapes and ideas too.
